1. By way of this common order, this Court intend to dispose of abovesaid four petitions as they have arisen out of the same FIR.

Petitioners have approached this Court by way of filing the present petitions praying for grant of regular bail to them in case FIR No.234 dated 29.10.2024, registered under Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 (Sections 111, 111(2), 111(3) and 111(4) of the BNS, 2023 and Section 29 of the Arms Act, 1959 added later on), at Police Station Islamabad, District Police Commissionerate, Amritsar. Petitioners Ishmeet Singh @ Rishu and Varinderjit Singh have filed their first petition, whereas petitioner Dilpreet Singh @ Dil has filed his second petition as his earlier petition bearing CRM- M-7595-2025 was dismissed as withdrawn on 06.03.2025. Petitioner Gurpreet Singh also filed his present third petition for grant of bail as his earlier bail applications bearing CRM-M-65269-2024 and CRM-M-12754-2025 were dismissed as withdrawn vide orders dated 13.01.2025 and 12.03.2025 respectively.

Succinctly, facts of the case are that the police party, while on patrolling on 29.10.2024 and was present at Kabir Park Chowk, Amritsar, received a secret information to the effect that Karanjit Singh @ Dhani, Jashandeep Singh @ Maya @ Chillar, Dilpreet Singh @ Dil, Chheharta and Ishmeet Singh were involved in selling the illegal weapons by bringing the same from other States. It was informed that on that day, they were waiting for delivery of weapons to their customers at Cara Wali UT Market and if a raid is conducted, they can be apprehended along with the illegal weapons. Accordingly, a raid was conducted at the disclosed place and four persons including Ishmeet Singh @ Rishu (petitioner in CRM-M-60148-2025) and Dilpreet Singh @ Dil (petitioner in CRM-M-47127-2025) were arrested at the spot. During investigation, Karanjit Singh made a disclosure statement about complicity of Gurpreet Singh (petitioner in CRM-M-30042-2025) and Varinderjit Singh (petitioner in CRM-M-30317-2025) and they were nominated as accused and were arrested on 30.10.2024. Investigating agencies recovered three pistols from Dilpreet Singh @ Dil and Ishmeet and rest of 8 country made pistols and 23 live cartridges were recovered from Gurpreet Singh and Varinderjit Singh. The petitioners approached the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar, praying for grant of bail, however, after hearing counsel for the parties, the learned Additional Sessions Judge declined the same vide orders dated 18.07.2025, 29.11.2024 and 11.12.2024 respectively. Hence, being aggrieved, the petitioners are before this Court by way of filing the present petitions praying for grant of regular bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioners have submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case on the basis of presumptions and assumptions as the prosecution case is based only on the secret information. It is submitted that the alleged recovery, if any, is a planted recovery and the petitioners have no criminal antecedents as they are not involved in any criminal case of similar nature.
