1. The jurisdiction of this Court under Section 483 BNSS has been invoked for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.9 dated 06.02.2025 under Sections 376(2)(n), 506, 120-B and 34 of IPC and Sections 66-E, 67 and 67-A of Information and Technology Act (Sections 120-B and 34 of IPC deleted later on), registered at Police Station Women Police Station, Rewari, District Rewari.

2. The translated version of the FIR is reproduced below:-

“To, Hon'ble Superintendent of Police, District Rewari. Subject: Application for initiation of legal action against Mahesh son of Shri Sunil, resident of village Bhojawas, District Mohindergarh. Sir, applicant do hereby submits as under: 1) That applicant xxxx daughter of Shri Vikram, am permanent resident of village Bhudla, presently residing of village Khol, Tehsil and District Rewari. 2) That I got introduction with accused Mahesh son of Sunil Kumar through Instagram and this introduction was got made by my classmate xxxxx. Accused sent friend request to me on Instagram. upon which I got introduction with accused and after that accused obtained my mobile number and accused Mahesh started chatting with me. I met accused Mahesh about one or one and a half year ago. Accused threatened me that I am possessing your calls details and call recordings and if you will stop chatting with me, then, I will upload your call details and call recordings on social media, due to which I got scared and after that I narrated all the facts to my friend xxxxx and then xxxxxx stated me, let I will manage compromise in between you today and took me in a hotel located in front of bus stand, Rewari where Mahesh son of Sunil was already seated and while sitting in a room we started making discussion and after some time. Anjali left while leaving both of us there while saying that let you both carry on discussion and I will return shortly. Accused Mahesh threatened me a lot and also extended threat to kill my family members and stated that if you will not develop physical relations with me, then, I will kidnap your younger brother and will eliminate him, due to which I got scared and after that accused committed rape upon me forcibly twice-thrice and also clicked my nude picture with his phone and stated that now everything turned well and now onwards I will not harass you and stated that if you will not carry on chatting with me, then, I will make all your pictures viral on internet. After that. I got engaged and when I narrated to accused that my engagement has taken place and that I am unable to carry on chatting with you, then, accused stated that I will make all your photographs viral on internet and will bring your matrimonial alliance to an end and will not allow you to marry someone else and will ruin your life. Accused prepared a false ID on Instagram and made my nude pictures, clicked forcibly, viral on social media and till date, he is making my photo viral. 3) That we received phone call from a girl in the name of Priyanka from mobile no. 82338xxxxx and she stated that I am serving in Chandigarh Police and if you will do anything wrong with my brother and will make complaint against him with police, then, I will spoil you and will also get your family eliminated. 4) That till now, accused is harassing and humiliating me and is threatening me openly that if you will not develop physical relations with me, then, I will kill you.
