1. The present petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS for quashing of order dated 08.01.2026 passed by Ld. Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patti, District Tarn Taran, vide which the petitioner was declared as proclaimed person in case FIR No.198 dated 03.07.2020, registered at Police Station City Patti, District Tarn Taran.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner was granted regular bail vide order dated 13.07.2020, whereafter challan was presented and he continued to appear but for 27.10.2025 on account of changing the address from Village Kulla to Patti, District Tarn Taran also noted down the wrong date, leading to his bail being cancelled and bail bonds/surety bonds forfeited to the State, vide order of even date and he was declared as proclaimed person vide order dated 08.01.2026 without complying with the provisions of Section 82 Cr.P.C in letter and spir
