1. Present bunch of appeals, the details of which are mentioned in the heading, involve common point of law and common set of facts, hence, they are being dealt together. For the sake of convenience, the facts are being taken from LPA-452-2022.

2. In the present bunch of appeals, the challenge is to the impugned order dated 28.04.2022 passed by the learned Single Judge, by which, the claim raised by the appellants that they are entitled for grant of interest on the amount of compensation which has been paid to them in consideration for the land belonging to them which was acquired by the Government, has been declined.

3. Certain facts need to be mentioned for the correct appreciation of the issue in hand.
