Present 2nd petition has been filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.103 dated 1.9.2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 18 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘NDPS Act’), registered at Police Station I.T. City, District SAS Nagar (Mohali).

2. The gravamen of the allegations against the petitioner is that he is an accused of being involved in an FIR pertaining to NDPS Act involving 4.5 Kgs. of opium allegedly recovered from the petitioner and his co-accused on 1.9.2024 from a house in the area of village Kaimbala.
