The present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) by the petitioner seeking grant of regular bail in case bearing FIR No. 175 dated 17.09.2025 registered under Sections 22 and 25 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985 (for short ‘NDPS Act’) (Challan under Sections 22, 27 and 29 of NDPS Act has been filed) at Police Station Sardulgarh, District Mansa.

2. As per the allegations, on 17.09.2025, while patrolling in the area of Sardulgarh, two youths were found standing with a motor bike, while carrying a polythene with them. On noticing the police officials, they tried to flee but were apprehended. The petitioner was one of them and another one was Lovepreet Singh @ Bunty.
