Prayer in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for declaring the action of respondents No.2 to 4 in not releasing/withholding the Pension of the petitioner admissible to him under the Punjab Municipal Employees Pension and Provident Fund Rules, 1994 despite his retirement on 31.08.2025 without explaining any reason for the same and especially when already the similarly situated employee Sh. Manjit Singh, retd. Pump Operator from respondent No.4/Nagar Council has already been released the Pension under the aforesaid Rules after his retirement.
