1. Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 483 BNSS is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.854 dated 01.10.2022, registered under Sections 147, 149, 323 IPC (Sections 216, 302 IPC added later on) at Police Station City Sirsa, District Sirsa, Haryana.

2. Learned counsel contends that the petitioner has been in custody for 1 year and about 2 months. His name surfaced based on the disclosure statement of co-accused Puneet Sharma, who was named in the FIR and has since been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 06.02.2025, after being in custody for 1 year and more than 3 months. As per the FIR, stick blows were given by an unknown person on the leg of the deceased, who passed away after 6 days and as per medical record, he was suffering from previous spinal fracture, paralysis, liver cirrhosis and Anemia etc. As
