Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 483 BNSS is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.2 dated 05.01.2025, registered at Police Station City Samana, District Patiala, under Sections 126(2), 118(1), 115(2), 351, 191(2), 190 BNS (Section

109 BNS added later on).

2. Learned counsel contends that the petitioner has been in custody for 1 year and 20 days, as he surrendered before the trial Court on 11.03.2025. She alleges false implication. It is a case of scuffle that had taken place. There is one injury on the left lateral aspect of the abdomen of Amit Kumar, Annexure P-2, who was discharged on 15.01.2025. Charges have been framed on 30.01.2026, however none out of 18 PWs has been examined, despite 5 opportunities having been granted till date.

In fact, supplementary challan is yet to be presented against co-accused Gurmej Singh, who has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court. The petitioner is not involved in any other case.
