1. Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.219 dated 17.08.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 21, 29, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act, 1985 and Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, 1959, at Police Station ANTF, ANTF-Wing, SAS Nagar (Mohali).

2. The gravamen of the FIR in question is that the petitioner is an accused of being involved in FIR pertaining to NDPS Act involving recovery of 554 grams of heroin and one pistol .32 bore alongwith two live cartridges, which were allegedly recovered from the petitioner and his co-accused.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has iterated that the petitioner is in custody since 17.08.2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the mandatory provisions of the NDPS Act have not been complied with
