Thereafter, the petitioner herein-Inderjit Singh @ Kaka son of Jagtar Singh armed with a wooden stick, Gurjant Singh son of Gulzar Singh and one unknown person who was accompanying them arrived at the spot. Co-accused Malagar Singh @ Bhalla inflicted a baseball blow on the back side of the head of deceased while the petitioner-Inderjit Singh @ Kaka is alleged to have inflicted a ‘danda’ blow on the head of the deceased-Baljit Singh causing him to fall to the ground, whereafter the co-accused Malagar Singh @ Bhalla gave another baseball blow on the forehead of the deceased. Subsequently, all the accused gave blows to the deceased when he was lying in the ground. Eventually,

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that initially as per the version of the respondent/State, two injuries were attributed to Malagar Singh @ Bhalla while one injury with ‘danda’ was attributed to the petitioner-Inderjit Singh @ Kaka.
