Instant petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of certiorari for quashing the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee held on 06.01.2026 (Annexure P-3) to the extent of recommendation of respondent No.3 for promotion to the post of Joint Director despite respondent No.3 being not eligible for promotion on the date of DPC.
