1. Through the instant petition filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short “BNSS”), the petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.13 dated 27.01.2026, registered under Sections 109, 115(2), 351(2), 191(3), 190 of BNS, 2023, at Police Station

Anaj Mandi, Patiala.

2. On 25.03.2026, the following order was passed by this Court: -

“Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 (438 Cr.P.C.) is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.13 dated 27.01.2026, registered under Sections 109, 115(2), 351(2), 191(3), 190 of BNS, 2023, at

Police Station Anaj Mandi, Patiala.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners are innocent and have been falsely implicated in the present case. He further contends that the petitioners have no concern with the said offence and the allegations levelled against them are vague. Learned counsel further contends that earlier the complainant had a dispute with the petitioners and he, with loaded revolver, openly threatened and abused the father of petitioners but later with the intervention of the respectables, the complainant gave a written apology and the matter was compromised. Learned counsel contends that to take revenge, the complainant has falsely. implicated the petitioners in the present FIR. He further submits that even if contents of FIR are taken to be true, then also no injury has been attributed to the petitioners. No recovery is to be effected from the petitioners. Learned counsel has further submitted that the petitioners are ready and willing to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so

by the investigating agency.

Notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Ravinder Singh, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and seeks

time to file status report in the matter.

Adjourned to 07.04.2026.

In the meantime, the petitioners are directed to join investigation within a week from today and would appear as and when required by the Investigating Officer and cooperate with the Investigating Agency. In the event of arrest, they shall be admitted to interim bail on furnishing of bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioners shall also abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section

482(2) of BNSS, 2023.”

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in compliance of the order dated 25.03.2026 passed by this Court, the petitioners have joined

the investigation.

4. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Vivek, has submitted that the petitioners have joined the investigation and is no

longer required for further investigation.

5. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim order dated 25.03.2026 passed by this Court, is made absolute. The petitioners shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under

Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
