Present Civil Revision Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the claimants praying for direction to the learned MACT, Sonepat to decide CM-202-2025 (Annexure P-5)

filed by the petitioners in a time bound manner.

2. Brief facts of the case are that the petitioners had previously filed Claim Petition dated 18.01.2024 (Annexure P-1) before the MACT Sonipat seeking compensation on account of death of their son Mohit in a motor vehicular accident that had transpired on the intervening night of 25/26-07.2023. On 14.12.2024, the Insurance Company had offered an amount of Rs.16 lacs by way of Settlement (Annexure P-2). Consequentially, vide order dated 17.12.2024 (Annexure P-3), Claim Petition (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioners was partly allowed by the learned MACT, Sonepat and Rs.16 lacs was awarded to the petitioners by way of compensation.
