1. This petition has been filed, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2-bank to defreeze petitioner’s salary account maintained with HDFC Bank Ltd., Court Road, Amritsar.

2. Counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner maintains salary account No.50100182361925 with respondent No.2-bank. He states that in September 2025 petitioner discovered that the said account had been debit- frozen without any prior notice or intimation, petitioner was informed that the freeze was applied on the basis of alleged four cyber fraud complaints, reflecting credits of Rs.2,250/-, Rs.2,250/-, Rs.720/- and Rs.720/-.
