1. The jurisdiction of this Court under Section 483 of BNSS has been invoked for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 246 dated 15.08.2024 under Section 80(1) of BNS, registered at Police Station DLF Phase-III, Gurugram (Annexure P-1).

2. The translated version of the FIR is reproduced below:-

“To, Incharge Police Post Nathupur, Gurugram. Sir, It is submitted that I, Jagbhan Pal son of Sh. Ram Parkash Pal, am a resident of village Pipriya Kalan Post Dhanguwan, Tehsil Badamal Hara, District Chattarpur (MP). The day when the marriage of my sister had taken place, I had done vidai of my sister after one year of the marriage. Since thereafter, my sister was given beatings, abuses every day at home and thereafter I told about all difficulties of my sister to boy's maternal uncle Baba Pal Garoli and maternal uncle Agya Pal Magrol, whereupon they gave abuses to us, our father and our maternal uncle over phone and issued threats to kill. Thereafter all of them turned out my sister from home at about 11.00 P.M and thereafter my sister made a phone call to me and told me about her tale of woes. Then we sent my father and maternal uncle and on reaching there, boy's brother-in-law Deepak, maternal uncle Baba Pal and maternal uncle Agya Pal and mother Neema Pal gave abuses to my maternal uncle and father and issued threats to give beatings, whereupon my maternal uncle and father, brought my sister and sister's minor son at about 12.00 at night in winters. Thereafter my sister stayed in our home for 10 months. Thereafter my brother-in-law Dharmender Pal came to take her in our village and took my sister with him. Thereafter they stayed fine for four five days and thereafter Dharmender's mother leveled bad allegations agaisnt my sister and Dharmender and his younger brother Amit, his father Kulu Pal used to give beatings to my siter every day and my sister told us telephonically that they were misbehaving with her and were giving beatings to her. Then we sent my younger brother Umashanker Pal to Gurgaon and he brought my sister to home. Thereafter again my sister stayed in our home for 8 months. During these eight months, neither they came to inquire about minor child. Thereafter Dharmender Pal made a phone call to my sister and said that if she wanted to come to them, she should come along with her brother. After this, my sister told us about all these things and they we sent our sister to Dharmender with my younger brother. Then my brother was returning home that Dharmender's father Kulu Pal gave filthy abuses to my younger brother and issued threat to kill him. Thereafter Dharmender's whole family kept on giving beatings to my sister and due to being fed up, my sister took a rented room separately. Then these persons used to go there also give beatings. This continued for many days and thereafter on 11.8.24, Dharmender's mother, devar, father-in-law took my sister along on the pretext of getting provided medicine to her and gave merciless beatings in market in Chakkarpur and left her in unconscious state. Minor son of my sister kept on crying on road and some doctor there picked him up. After all this, in the morning on 13.8.24, Dharmender gave you severe beatings to my sister and before going to work, told my sister that either in evening, she should be found hanging or move out of the house, but she should not show her face to him in evening. By saying this, he took the child and went away. Ever since the marriage, Dharmender, Neema, Kulu, Vinita, Amit all used to say that my parents had not given any dowry and either she should move out of the house or die, whereas I had given 1
