1. The instant petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.09 dated 20.01.2026, registered under Sections 21/29/61/85 of NDPS Act, at Police Station Ghall Khurd, District Ferozepur, Punjab.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case on the basis of disclosure statement of co-accused; except the disclosure statement, which is inadmissible in evidence, there is no material available with the prosecution to prove the complicity of the petitioner in commission of offence, and the contraband i.e. 8.20 grams of heroin recovered from co-accused also fall under intermediate quantity. Thus, learned counsel prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner as he is ready and willing to join the investigation.
