This revision petition has been preferred against the judgment dated 23.07.2012 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide which, judgment of conviction and order on quantum of sentence dated 05.05.2011, passed by learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar, have been upheld, in case stemming from FIR No.47 dated 18.05.2006 registered under Sections 279, 337, 338, 304-A & 427 of IPC at Police Station Bhogpur, and the petitioner was sentenced as under :

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that he is not assailing the impugned judgment of conviction dated 23.07.2012 on merits and restricts his prayer to modification of the order on quantum of sentence to that of the sentence already
