1 In the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 15.05.2026 (Annexure P-5), vide which, the petitioner has been repatriated to his parent department i.e. Indian Reserve Battalion (hereinafter referred to as the ‘IRB’).
2. Brief facts of the case are that the petitioner was appointed in 3rd IRB. He was sent on deputation to the Department of Vigilance and Security, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) vide order dated 05.08.2024 passed by the Additional Director General of Police, State Armed Police, Jalandhar. Vide order dated 15.05.2026 (Annexure P-5), the petitioner has been repatriated to the parent department i.e. IRB on administrative reasons. Aggrieved against the abovesaid order, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that as the petitioner has attained the age of 57 years and is going to retire in the coming year and he is also suffering from health issues, as such, he may be permitted to continue in the borrowing department till he attains the age of superannuation.
