1. This Criminal Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent no. 4 and his family and other relatives and to ensure safety of the personal life, liberty and property of the petitioners which is under eminent threat at the hands of private respondent and his family, friends and relatives with a further prayer to direct the respondents No.1 to 3 to not to falsely implicate the petitioners into a false criminal case at the behest of private respondent and his family members and friends, whereas infact petitioners are in a live-in relationship out of their own free will and without any pressure and undue influence from anybody.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No.1 has been in a live in relationship with petitioner No.2. The private respondents have been extending threats of dire consequences to the petitioners as they are averse to their live in relationship.
