1. Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is for grant of interim bail for a period of two weeks to the petitioner in case arising out of FIR No. 304 dated 23.09.2023, registered under Sections 302 and 34 of IPC (Section 201 of IPC added later on) at Police Station Murthal, District Sonipat.

2. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that he has been arraigned as an accused in the aforementioned FIR and is lodged in District Jail, Sonipat. He is the eldest son of his father having two younger brothers and one younger sister namely Rohini. His father had died. The marriage ceremony of his sister is scheduled to be performed on 25.04.2026. He is required to perform certain rituals in the wedding ceremony of his sister, for which, his presence is must.
