1. The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of appropriate directions to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to provide adequate police protection for safeguarding the petitioner’s life and personal liberty; to restrain respondent Nos. 2 and 3 from harassing the petitioner or taking any action against her at the behest of respondent Nos. 4 to 8; and to direct respondent Nos. 4 to 8 to refrain from interfering in the petitioner’s peaceful life, harassing her, or using force or any unlawful means against her, thereby causing prejudice to her.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the petitioners are the owner in possession of land situated in Village Bandianwala. He further submits that respondent No. 1 has filed a civil suit
