1. Learned counsel submits that the claim of the petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in Chander Parkash vs. HVPNL and Others, CWP-380-2014, decided on 07.08.2025, which has not been challenged and during pendency of the present petition, there was an interim order with regard to his reversion. He thus prays that the matter may be reconsidered in light of the above.

2. The above facts having been brought out, during the course of hearing, learned counsel for the respondents fairly states that the authority would not be averse to having a relook at the matter and consider it, taking note of the aforesaid judgment and decide the same, within a period of 4 months, in accordance with law, after affording a proper opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and uninfluenced with orders impugned herein, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not be addressed in a just, fair and reasonable manner.

3. The matter stands disposed of accordingly and if the petitioner is found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and he shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon. Till the decision is taken, the interim order dated
