These anticipatory bail applications have been filed by the petitioners apprehending their arrest in connection with FIR No.61/2019 and FIR No.07/2019 registered at Police Station Sangad, District Jaisalmer for the offences under Sections 467, 468, 471 and 420 IPC.
Drawing attention of the Court towards various documents attached with the bail applications, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in a departmental enquiry, allegation of deflection has not been found proved. Learned counsel further submitted that in compliance of the order passed by this Court, the petitioners have already joined the investigation. It was contended that since the petitioners have already joined the investigation, no fruitful purpose would be served by sending them behind the bars. It was, therefore, prayed that the petitioners may be released on anticipatory bail.
Per contra, learned Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.
Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the impugned order.
