This habeas corpus petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner alleging that his minor daughter aged about 17 years is missing since 26.11.2023 from his house and he has apprehension that she is in illegal detention of respondent No.4.

Pursuant to the notice issued by this Court, learned GA-cum-AAG has filed factual reports from time to time, however, on 30.01.2024, it was informed that one police team had been sent to Anikleshwar, Gujarat for tracing out the corpus and, therefore, the matter was fixed for 19.02.2024.

Today, a mentioning was made in the morning that the corpus had been traced out by the police, therefore, at the request of learned GA-cum-AAG, the matter is listed today.

Learned GA-cum-AAG has submitted that the police have traced out the corpus from Anikleshwar, Gujarat and her statements have been recorded by the police in connection with the FIR lodged by the petitioner at Police Station Bagoda, District Sanchore, wherein the corpus has stated that she went with the respondent No.4 as per her own free will and resided with him for around two months.
