1. Accused-Applicants have preferred these applications for suspension of sentence.

2. Heard learned counsel for the parties on the applications for suspension of sentence.

3. It is contended by counsel appearing for the accused- applicants that all the accused-applicants have been sentenced for life imprisonment under Section 302 read with Section 149 of IPC by the learned Trial Court vide order dated 29.11.2023. Learned counsel further submits that according to statement of PW-1 Rohitash Kumar as well as PW-8 Pooran Mal, who is also an injured witness, the head injury has been caused by co-accused Shankar Singh. Learned counsel further submits that according to the PMR Report at Exhibit-35, which contains the opinion of Medical Board, the deceased died due to head injury and admittedly, the head injury on the deceased person has been caused by co-accused person Shankar Singh, as per the statement of injured witness PW-8 Pooranmal, who is the best prosecution witness. Leaned counsel further submits that all the accused- applicants were on bail during trial and hearing/disposal of the appeals are likely to take long time.
