1. An FIR bearing No. 124/2024 came to be registered on 26.09.2024, was lodged at Police Station Deshnok, District Bikaner, under Sections 137(2) and 87 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (hereinafter to be referred as “BNS”), wherein the complainant alleged that her 16-year-old sister had been kidnapped and abducted. The police traced the victim’s location in Ayodhya along with the accused.
2. Subsequently, the victim’s father filed an FIR No. 637/2024 at Police Station Nokha, District Bikaner, stating that the accused had kidnapped his 16-year-old daughter, and they were found in Ayodhya on 05.10.2024. Upon being informed by the Ayodhya police, the Deshnok police reached Ayodhya on 07.10.2024 and took custody of both the victim and the accused. The police team, comprising three constables, two males and one female, traveled with the accused and the victim by train from Ayodhya to Lucknow, then Lucknow to Jaipur, and finally Jaipur to Nokha, reaching Nokha at 10 p.m. on 09.10.2024, where they take a halt overnight at a hotel.
