1. Feeling aggrieved and dissatisfied by the award dated 23.02.2011 passed by the Labour Court, instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court against the impugned order by which an ex-parte award has been passed against the petitioner and a direction has been issued to the petitioner to reinstate back the respondent No.1-workman (for short ‘the workman’) in service and grant him 20% back wages.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was never served with any notice, rather the acknowledgment slip indicates that manipulation done by the workman. Counsel submits that name of the workman was mentioned on the ack
