1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant-appellant and learned Public Prosecutor on the application for suspension of

sentence.

The applicant-appellant herein has been convicted for offences punishable under Sections 13(1)(C)(D) read with Section 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 & Sections 409, 467, 468, 471 & 477A of IPC vide judgment dated 04.12.2025 passed by learned Special Judge, Prevention of Corruption Act Cases, Baran, in Criminal Regular Case No.73/2025 (CIS Session Case

No.73/2025) and has been sentenced to maximum punishment of three years.
