21/01/2026 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that examination-

in-chief of the complainant was recorded on 21.08.2025, however, on that day as his counsel was not available, therefore cross- examination of witness-Mangi Lal (PW-1) could not be conducted. He submits that no opportunity was granted to the petitioner and cross-examination was closed on the same day. Learned counsel prays that one more opportunity may be granted to the petitioner to cross-examine in the matter.

Learned Public Prosecutor does not dispute the fact that opportunity of the petitioner to cross-examine witness-Mangi Lal (PW-1) was closed on the same date.
