1. The matter comes up on an application (IA No.01/2026) filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking further extension of period of interim bail granted by this Court vide order dated 08.12.2025 passed in S.B. Criminal Misc. Bail Application No.14801/2025.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s wife is suffering from ovarian Cyst and is undergoing treatment and for that purpose, interim bail for a period of 20 and 30 days was granted by this Court twice vide orders dated 08.12.2025 and 18.12.2025, however, due to low blood count, surgery of the petitioner’s wife could not be performed. Therefore, she has prayed for further extension of temporary bail for a period of two months for the said purpose.

4. Vide order dated 23.01.2026 passed by this Court, the of the petitioner’s wife.

5. Today, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the report dated 24.01.2026 received from SHO, P.S. Karwar, Police Commissionerate, Jodhpur (East), which reflects that due to low blood count, surgery could not be performed and the date of surgery has been extended. The said report is taken on record.

6. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the prayer for extension of interim bail; however, he is not in a position to dispute the fact that due to low blood count, surgery of petitioner’s wife could not be performed and the date of surgery has been extended.

7. After considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case and upon careful perusal of the material available on record, more specifically the medical report dated 24.01.2026, which reflects that due to low blood count, surgery could not be performed upon the petitioner’s wife and the date of surgery has been extended, this Court deems it appropriate to extend interim bail of the petitioner for a further period of 25 days.

In this background and for humanitarian grounds and there being no legal impediment to extend the period of interim bail, the instant application is allowed and the period of interim bail already granted to the petitioner Arjun Ram S/o Shankar Ram, by this Court, vide order ibid, is hereby extended for further 25 days on the same conditions/directions and the bail bonds furnished by him in terms of the order dated 08.12.2025, passed in S.B.
