1. Instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayers:

“In these circumstances, it is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to accept this writ petition and: the impugned final result dated 15.10.2025 in pursuance to advertisement dated 28.06.2023 to the extent of selecting respondent no.3 in Ex- servicemen category may kindly be declared illegal and arbitrary and same may kindly be quashed and set aside;

The respondents may kindly be directed by issuing appropriate, writ, order or direction in the nature thereof to: (a)revise/ reshuffle final result in pursuance to advertisement dated 28.06.2023 by excluding the selection of respondent no.3 in Ex-servicemen category; (b) upgrade the merit position and rank of humble petitioners for appointment on the post of State services and Subordinate services in pursuance to advertisement dated 28.06.2023 in General Ex-servicemen/ OBC Ex- servicemen category; (c)appoint humble petitioners on the post of State services and Subordinate services in pursuance to advertisement dated 28.06.2023 in General Ex-servicemen/ OBC Ex- servicemen category with all consequential benefits, as per their merit position and eligibility; (iii) Any other appropriate order or direction which this Hon'ble Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be passed in favour of petitioner.”

2. While considering the writ petition on 03.12.2025, we have directed respondent no. 1 to place the correct qualification of respondent no.3, as claimed by respondent no.3 to entitle him to claim Ex-serviceman category in RAS, 2023.

3. Mr. Archit Bohra, AGC placed on record of communication dated 03.12.2025 issued by the Joint Secretary, DOP (ka-4/2) Department, wherein it has been mentioned that respondent no. 3 is not qualified to claim BC-Ex-serviceman category and his candidature has been removed from the said category. The statement made by Mr. Archit Bohra, AGC is taken on record along with communication.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. Archit Bohra, AGC and Mr. M.F Baig submits that according the merit will be re-

shuffled.

5. After considering the statement made by learned counsel for respondent(s), the grievance of the petitioner has been satisfied.

6. In view of above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Misc. application, if any, stands disposed of.
