1. The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:-

“1. Direct respondent Nos.1 (State of Rajasthan, through the Chief Secretary) and 2 (Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment) to immediately release all pending financial assistance and rehabilitation benefits.

2. Direct respondent Nos.1 (State of Rajasthan) and 2 (Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment) to ensure that the Petitioner, receives all entitled pension and food security benefits as per the Rajasthan Pneumoconiosis Policy, 2019, without any arbitrary denial or delay.

3. Direct Respondent No.5 (District Collector, Karauli) to release immediate interim financial aid to the Petitioner, within 30 days, as per the Rajasthan Pneumoconiosis Policy-2019, to alleviate his immediate suffering.

4. Pass any other appropriate Writ, Order, or Direction that this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the husband of the petitioner was suffering from Silicosis Disease. The certificate of the said disease issued by the Principal, Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur, is annexed with the petition as Annexure-1. Learned counsel further submits that the husband of the petitioner died due to Silicosis Disease and as per the policy of Government of Rajasthan Pneumoconiosis Policy, 2019, the petitioner is entitled to get compensation, however, no compensation has been awarded in favour of the petitioner. He prays that the respondents may be directed to release the amount of compensation in favour of the petitioner.

4. Considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also perused the material made available on record.

5. Taking into consideration the submissions made above, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the petitioner to submit a representation before the concerned authority within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and the concerned authority may decide the representation within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the representation.

6. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of as above.

7. The stay application and other pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
