1. At the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2. The limited grievance of the petitioner is that he has challenged the order dated 06.11.2025 (Annex.4) whereby, the petitioner was reverted back from the post of Head Constable (MT) to Constable (Mt).

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was initially recruited in the cadre of Constable (MT) and the seniority list of such Constables (MT) was originally prepared in the year 2013- 2014. Based on the said seniority list, the petitioners were promoted to the post of Head Constable (MT) in the year 2017.
