1. By way of filing the instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs:-

“It is, therefore, humbly and respectfully prayed that this writ petition of the petitioners may kindly be allowed: -

A/ By an appropriate writ, order or direction, the respondents may kindly be directed to award the khatedari rights of land in question in favor of the land holders bearing land of khasra no. 54/1 measuring 11 Bigha Barani Land situated as revenue village Jaimalsar, Tehsil Gajner (Colonization), District Bikaner.

B/ By an appropriate writ, order or direction, the respondent nos. 2 to 5 may kindly be directed to hold the meeting of allotment committee to decide the application (Annex-8) of the petitioners for khatedari rights of land in question in mode of permanent allotment for the land of khasra no. 54/1 measuring 11 Bigha Barani Land situated at Revenue village Jaimalsar, Tehsil Gajner (Colonization) District Bikaner.

C/ By an appropriate writ, order or direction, the respondent officials may kindly be directed to convene the meeting of allotment committee to decide the claim of the land holders in time bound manner and may kindly be directed to award khatedari rights of the land in question as per law of the governing field.

D/ Any other appropriate writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem just and proper in the facts and circumstances in the case.

E/ Writ petition filed by the petitioners may kindly be allowed with costs.”

2. After arguing the matter for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners would be satisfied if the competent authority of the respondents i.e. respondent Nos.2 to 5 are directed to consider and decided the petitioners’ case for grant of khatedari rights in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission made at Bar by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to file a fresh representation alongwith a certified copy of the order instant within a period of two weeks from today before the competent authority of the respondent department i.e. respondent Nos. 2 to 5.

4. In case, a representation is so filed, the competent authority of the respondent department i.e. respondent Nos.2 to 5 shall consider and decide the request of the petitioners with regard to the grant of
