1. The present batch of writ petitions involve common question of fact and law therefore, they were heard together on stay petitions.

By way of filing S.B. Civil Writ Petition Nos. 5309/2026 and

5336/2026, the petitioners, who claim themselves to be the Treasurer and nominated members of the Shri Raj Rajeshwari Ashapurna Mataji Pat Sansthan Trust (hereinafter referred to as the “Trust”), have challenged the election programme dated 02.03.2026 notified by the Election Officer for conducting elections of the executive committee of the aforesaid Trust.

2. As far as S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.4234/2026 is concerned, the same has been filed being aggrieved by the communication dated 02.03.2026, whereby the Assistant Commissioner, Devasthan Department, Jodhpur allegedly directed the Chief Patron of the Trust to conduct elections of the executive committee/assembly. The said communication dated 02.03.2026 has primarily been challenged on the ground that the Assistant Commissioner, Devasthan Department, Jodhpur lacks jurisdiction to issue any such direction.
