1. The above writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the denial of correction in his category in the recruitment process for the post of Class-IV employees.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners participated in the direct recruitment process for the post of Class-IV employee initiated by Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur.

3. In the present writ petition, petitioner belongs to SC- LD/CP category. It was submitted that Unique Disability ID number has been placed on record by the petitioner in support of his claim, yet while ignoring the same and on account of the fact that the petitioner is less educated and has no knowledge with regard to computer or the process of filing the online application form, got his form filled through third person/E-Mitra, who instead of showing the category of petitioner as 'SC-LD/CP', showed the petitioner as 'SC'.

It is also submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that after filing the application form, the petitioner participated in the written examination and although, he secured more marks than the cut-off marks declared for 'SC-LD/CP' candidates, yet only on account of human error occurred while submitting the application form, the petitioner was not considered in the category of 'SC-LD/CP'.

It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that after declaration of result, petitioner also submitted application/affidavit seeking correction in his category, yet no action was taken by the respondent-Board. It is also submitted that, in case, the petitioner was treated in the category of 'SC- LD/CP', then he would have secured proper place in the merit list for further consideration in the recruitment process.

6. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.

7. Clause 17 of the advertisement issued by respondent-

Board is reproduced hereunder:

"॥7. ऑनलाईन आवेदन में संशोधन की प्रक्रियाः- बोर्ड द्वाय ऑनलाईन आवेदन में संशोधन हेतु कोई ऑफलाईन ग्रार्थना पत्र स्वीकार नहीं किया जायेया / बोर्ड द्वारा जारी विज्ञप्ति ह दिनांक 4.07.2023 द्व nT यदि किसी अभ्यर्थी को अपने OTR ¥F स्व्यं के नाम पिता के नाम way एवं fer में परिवर्तन करना है तो उसे सर्वप्रथम अपने आधार, जनआधार में परिवर्तन करवाना होगा तत्पश्चात्‌ OTR स्क्रीन पर फेच का बटन दबाना होया जिससे आधार,/ जनआधार में दर्ज नवीन डाटा उसके OTR में स्वतः ही SIT जायेया। अभ्यर्थी pr अपने OTR में आरक्षण श्रेणी, दिव्यांगजन श्रेणी एवं मूल निवास में वांछित संशोधन करने की अनुमति दी यई है। अभ्यर्थी संशोधन करने के उपरान्त ही ऑनलाईन आवेदन ae) यदि अभ्यर्थी भर्ती का ऑनलाईन आवेदन सबमिट कर चुका है तो ऐसी स्थिति में ऑनलाईन आवेदन में संग्रोधन करने की अवधि के दौरान भी उसे स्वयं के नाम, पिता के नाम जन्मतिथि एवं लिंय में परिवर्तन की अनुयति नहीं होगी। अभ्यर्थी को यदि आरक्षण श्रेणी दिव्यांगजन श्रेणी,/ मूल निवास में संशोधन करने है तो पहले उसे OTR पेज पर आरक्षण श्रेणी,” दिव्यांगजन श्रेणी, मूल निवास में संशोधन करना होगा इससे उसे स्वयं के ऑनलाईन आवेदन में पूर्व में भरे गये आरक्षण श्रेणी, FRAT OTT श्रेणी,” यूल निवास में संशोधन करने का विकल्प उपलब्ध हो जायेगा; जिसे उपयोग में लेकर वह वांछित संशोधन कर सकता है। ऑनलाईन आवेदन Submit किये जाने के पश्चात्‌ यदि आवेदक को किसी प्रकार की Are का पता लगता है तो अभ्यर्थी ऑनलाईन आवेदन में फोटो हस्ताक्षर एवं उन सूचनाओं को परिवर्तित नहीं कर पाएगा जो उसने OTR के समय दर्ज की है। शेष सूचनाओं में वह संशोधन निम्नानुसार कर सकता a i. यदि we अभ्यर्थी अपने ; ऑनलाईन आवेदन
