1. The present writ petition has been filed assailing the order dated 21.02.2026, passed by learned Gram Nayalaya, Nawalgarh, District Jhunjhunu, in Civil Suit No. 14/2022, whereby the application filed by the plaintiff-petitioner under Order 7 Rule 14 CPC has been rejected.

2. Brief facts of the case are that a suit for permanent injunction was filed by the plaintiffs–petitioners against the defendants–respondents. During the course of the proceedings, the plaintiffs–petitioners filed an application under Order 7 Rule 14 CPC for taking on record a pen drive containing photographs and video recordings of the site in question.

3. After hearing both the parties, the learned Trial Court dismissed the said application vide order dated 21.02.2026.

4. Aggrieved by the same, the plaintiffs-petitioners have preferred the present writ petition.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Court below rejected the application on the ground that the documents sought to be produced by the plaintiff–petitioner were in the nature of photographs and recordings, and that only an affidavit had been filed along with such photographs and recordings. He contends that this amounts to a procedural irregularity, and therefore, the learned Trial Court has committed an illegality in rejecting the application.
