with the following prayers:

“(i) The PIL Application may kindly be allowed that in these circumstances it is submitted that the present writ petition

filed in public interest deserves to be allowed and (ii) That an appropriate writ direction or order may be issued against the respondents to the effect that land allotment/surrender/gift of kıla по. Regarding 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 in square no. 51 of Chak 1-D-Chhoti Gram Panchayat Sadhuwali Tehsil and District Sri Ganganagar to Krishi Upaj Mandı Samiti by Gram Panchayat Sadhuwali by letter dated 19.2.2021 vide Annexure 5 and any consequent document thereunder and thereupon may be declared to be

vitiated by law and highly arbitrary and thus set aside.

(iii) Call for the entire records, documents from respondents and cancel panchayat resolution for transfer of above land including sanctions or gift deed made in the meantime if any and to produce regular and periodic status reports before this

Hon'ble court.

(iv) To take corrective actions regarding illegal siphoning of public land against concerned respondents.

(v) Cost of litigation may be awarded to the Legal Services Authority.

(vi) Any other relief which this Hon'ble High Court may deem fit and proper may also be granted in favour of the public

interest.”

2. At the outset, learned Government counsel submits that the land in question, situated at Gram Panchayat Sadhuwali, District Sri Ganganagar, which was proposed for establishment of the Krishi Upaj Mandi Samiti, is no longer required to be adjudicated, as an alternative site has been chosen for the said establishment.

Hence, the present petition has become infructuous.

3. In light of the statement made by the respondents that the land in question is no longer being considered for establishment of the Krishi Upaj Mandi Samiti, the challenge raised in the present

petition has become infructuous.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed off.
