1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging letter dated 30.12.2025 issued by the respondent- Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, whereby candidature of the petitioner has rejected on the ground of not possessing valid computer degree or the certificate on the relevant date.

2. It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that respondent- Board initiated recruitment process for the post of Patwari and applications were invited from all eligible candidates as per the conditions of eligibility and educational qualifications mentioned in the advertisement; candidates were required to possess graduation degree from recognized university as well as certificate/diploma with regard to qualification in computer, computer science/computer application. The conditions mentioned in the advertisement are being reproduced hereunder:-

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted application form being eligible and it was specified in the application form that result of RS-CIT examination was awaited. Petitioner secured the certificate of RS-CIT on 09.09.2025, and same was also produced before the respondents for document verification.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that apart from certificate of RS-CIT, the petitioner was also possessing certificate of advanced Computerized Accounting issued by National Academy of RUDSETI, which is also equivalent of qualification of RS-CIT.
