ORDER
Pursuant to this Court’s order dated 17th May, 2024, the Election Commission of India has filed affidavit along with the sealed cover showing the tentative schedule of bye-election for Assembly Constituency No. 167, Manicktala, State of West Bengal.
We have perused the paper submitted along with the affidavit.
Since the Election Commission of India is likely to proceed further in the matter declaring the election, there is no need of keeping this appeal pending any further.
Accordingly, the present civil appeal is disposed of.
The sealed envelope is returned to the learned counsel for the respondent(s) in the Court.
