2. Leave granted.

4. The appellant instead of surrendering within the time stipulated in the impugned order, approached this Court with the special leave petition out of which this appeal arises. He was arrested on 8th January, 2025 during the pendency thereof. Obviously, for his failure and/or neglect to surrender, the revision of the appellant stands dismissed.

6. In terms of the order dated 9th January, 2025, the appellant has deposited Rs. 12,60,000/- (Rupees twelve lakh and sixty thousand) with the Registry. He has also been released on interim bail.

8. The cheque amount having been secured by the appellant, we set aside the impugned order of the High Court; consequently, the revision before the High Court shall stand revived.
