1. After the mediation had failed, the respondent-husband was directed by us on 26.02.2024, to pay all the arrears of maintenance to the petitioner-wife within four weeks and file a Compliance Affidavit. The respondent-husband did not comply with that order. Learned counsel for the respondent-husband made a statement on 10.04.2024 that he has refused to give instructions to her. She was consequently discharged from the matter. The respondent was advised to engage a new counsel or appear in person.

In such circumstances, we direct, as an interim measure, that Flat No.202, Kinjal Cooperative Housing Society, Building No.14, Prem Jyot Housing Complex, Mumbai-400 043 be attached. The Prescribed Authority is directed to make entry to this effect in the municipal records. The respondent is restrained from encumbering or creating third party rights in respect of the said flat.
