We do not find any good ground and reason to interfere with the findings.
However, we reduce the fine imposed by the Disciplinary Committee of the Bar Council of India from Rs.3,00,000/- (rupees three lakhs only) to Rs.2,00,000/- (rupees two lakhs only). It is stated that Rs.1,00,000/- (rupees one lakh only) has already been deposited by the appellant – Parasmal B. The balance amount of Rs.1,00,000/- (rupees one lakh only) will be deposited with the Karnataka State Bar Council within a period of two weeks from today.
Recording the aforesaid, the present appeal is disposed of.
Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
