This petition is filed under Section 25 of the C.P.C. seeking transfer of D.M.C. No. 77 of 2022 titled “Mr. Mahender Singh vs. Mrs. Rashmi Kumari”, pending before the Family Court, Meham, Rohtak, Haryana to the competent Court of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Despite service of notice, the sole respondent has chosen not to appear and contest the matter. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

In such circumstances and taking into account the distance of the court where the case sought to be transferred is pending and the place where the petitioner-wife is presently residing and other relevant aspects, we are inclined to allow the captioned transfer petition.
