1. The present petition has been filed for seeking transfer of Criminal Case No.15078 of 2024 titled "State v. Aajam Husain & Ors." in FIR No.59 dated 23^rd April, 2024 registered at Police Station Delhigate, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh pending before the Special Chief Judicial Magistrate, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh to the Metropolitan Magistrate, Karkardooma Court, North, East Delhi, Delhi.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned senior counsel appearing for the first respondent.

3. Notwithstanding service of notice, none appears for the private respondents.

4. Two proceedings arising out of matrimonial dispute are already pending in the Court of Karkardooma, North, Signature Not VerifiEedast Delhi, Delhi. Therefore, we allow the present Digitally signed by ANITA MALHOTRA Date: 2025.05.01 Reason:

5. Accordingly, Criminal Case No.15078 of 2024 titled "State v. Aajam Husain & Ors." in FIR No.59 dated 23^rd April, 2024 registered at Police Station Delhigate, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh pending before the Special Chief Judicial Magistrate, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh is hereby transferred to the Metropolitan Magistrate, Karkardooma Court, North, East Delhi, Delhi.

6. We direct that the transferred case shall be assigned to the Court of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Karkardooma before whom the complaint filed by the petitioner under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 is pending.

7. Records shall be sent by the Court where proceedings are pending to the transferee Court promptly.
