Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicant/appellant.
The order of interim relief was continued by this Court by final order dated 3rd March, 2025 passed in Civil Appeal No.3532/2025 for a period of three months. It is disclosed in the Application that the Writ Petition which was remanded to the High Court for hearing was lastly listed on 7th May, 2025 and on that day, following order was passed:
“1) Part-heard.
2) Stand over to 19th June, 2025.”
In our view, the High Court ought to have extended the interim relief granted by this Court under the final order dated 3rd March, 2025 passed in the Civil Appeal. The very object of granting the interim relief for three months was to ensure that till the High Court applies its mind on the prayers made by the applicant/appellant, the protection Signature Not Verified should continue.
