ORDER
1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, State of Chhattisgarh, and Mr. Angad Pahel, learned Amicus Curiae.
2. The petitioners were granted interim protection by this Court vide orders dated 29.04.2025 and 19.05.2025 and it was provided that in the event of arrest of the petitioners, they shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as may be imposed by the trial Court.
3. It has been informed that the investigations are not over as the charge sheet has not been filed.
4. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we direct the petitioners (in both the matters) to appear before the Investigating Officer (IO) on 23.07.2025 during the working hours or on any other date that may be fixed by him but no coercive action shall be taken against them, if they so appear.
5. The petitioners shall participate and cooperate with the investigation as well as the trial that may follow.
6. The interim protection granted earlier is made absolute.
7. The Special Leave Petitions stand disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
8. We record our appreciation for the assistance rendered by learned Amicus Curiae in this matter.
