UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
1. Delay condoned.
2. Learned senior counsel appearing for the State pointed out that in Crime No.369 of 2018, the investigating officer will file a closure report. We accept the said statement and taken the same on record. As regards Crime No. 367 of 2017, the learned senior counsel states that the investigating officer will file chargesheet.
3. By recording the aforesaid statement, we dispose of the petitions. We make it clear that it will be open for the petitioners to file proceedings for quashing of the chargesheet.
If the proceedings are filed, the same shall be decided on its own merits by the High Court without being influenced by tentative observations made in the impugned judgment. The Special Leave Petitions stand disposed of.
4. Needless to state that it will be always open for the complainant to file a protest petition in Crime No. 369 of 2018.
5. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
