It is also brought to our notice that the complaint filed by the respondent before the Special Judge, CBI Cases, Hyderabad, under Sections 190(1) and 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, was permitted to be withdrawn by an order of this Court dated 29.06.2016. Perhaps, this criminal appeal has been treated as pending because the said order does not explicitly record its disposal.

3. We observe that this criminal appeal is rendered infructuous in light of the aforesaid development; also, the appeal has abated due to the death of the respondent.
